Rumour: PlayStation 4 could be unveiled in May
Join the forum discussion on this postAccording to Sony Home Entertainment’s vice-president Hiroshi Sakatomi, when asked about Sony’s NetGen console by a Spanish magazine Sakatomi said “I can only say that we are focused on the E3 gaming event, scheduled for June. The announcement may be in that minute or even earlier in May.” When asked whether the reveal would be a major announcement or a minor reveal Sakatomi went on to say “Probably the first. In that time we expect to deliver great news, but we must wait until May at least.”
This comes on the back of a report by research firm Baird Equity that also suggests the PlayStation 4 will be announced before E3 and that the console will cost $400 and likely to launch before the NextGen Xbox.

Yes it was my fault I wanted to set it up so that it opened the liunk in another page as that link takes people away from the site, which isnt good.
I don’t care for nextgen, I’m getting to the age where nothing really excite me. I’m actually more excited with what Valve & xi3 are doing. Just imagine Half Life 3 exclusive on the steambox.
If I get a next gen console at all this time around, it will most likely be a playstation. Depending upon what goes down when the reveals happen. Microsoft are just a bunch of money grabbers and have totally forgotten about the people who bought into the xbox in the first place. In my opinion.
What is the catch at $400?, Sony is renound for overpricing their hardware, at that price I think that it may be a striped back entry model. I was expecting something nearer $500+. I can believe $400 for xbox though as i think Microsoft know that they will have to take a big loss on the hardware short term while setting a realistic retail price.
